About the project

Our Southampton office were asked to look at redeveloping an existing corner site. 

The proposal was to replace the existing dwelling and create 10 large flats with adjoining car parking and amenity spaces.  The proposal was designed to comply with the new National Planning Framework which encourages Local Authorities to seek high quality designs whilst promoting vitality into Urban areas.

Rotary Heartbeat House was opened in 1995 and has provided free accommodation for over 6,500 people whose loved ones are undergoing major heart treatment in the Wessex Regional Cardiac Centre.

Studio Four Architects were commissioned by Colten Developments to design and obtain Planning permission for a development of 4 houses on a site in Lymington.

4 Dwellings, Kings Worthy

After designing and obtaining Planning permission for the refurbishment of an existing bungalow and the creation of 3 new dwellings, Studio Four were appointed by Williams Ewan to develop the drawings for Building Regulations approval and construction.

High Street, Southampton

Studio Four were asked to design a contemporary block of residential flats with ground floor commercial premises on a challenging site within the old part of the City.

Waterfront Development, Isle of Wight
