We are pleased to announce that the following staff have accepted new positions as Associates in the practice:-
Jim Griffiths: Jim has been with Studio Four since 2000 and has worked on a number of large scale healthcare projects, notably at Southampton General Hospital, but has also developed projects in Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch. Jim is a very competent Project Architect and a safe pair of hands on any project. Notable projects include: Lifelab and the WISH laboratories at Southampton General Hospital.
Mark Rides: Mark is a Senior Technician with over 34 years experience in the construction industry. Mark is one of the early members of Studio Four, joining the practice in 1993, a year after its creation. Mark primarily works on Healthcare projects on the South Coast but has also worked on Office and Laboratory projects within Hampshire. Notable projects include: the TYA extension and Neonatal Unit at Southampton General Hospital.
Steve Robinson: Steve joined Studio Four in 2002 and is a project architect, he has worked on a wide variety of projects including two new build GP Surgerys, major alterations to two Leisure Centres and numerous education projects at Sparsholt College and Winchester University. He is also Studio Four’s key contact point for the RNLI, having completed Hayling Island and Cowes lifeboat stations and now working on new build stations at Eastbourne and Llandudno as well as pushing other stations through Planning stages. Steve is based in our Winchester office and assists Mike Brownlow with the running of our important branch office.
Stuart Turnbull: Stuart is a Senior Technologist with over 16 years’ experience in the Construction Industry, initially working for a Civil Engineering Company before joining Studio Four in November 2004. Whilst at Studio Four, Stuart has studied part time at Southampton Solent University to obtain an HNC and a BA Hons Degree in Architectural Technology. Stuart is also a Chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Technologists (CIAT). Stuart has worked on a wide variety of projects including Extensions and Refurbishment works for Highbury College, numerous schemes for Kenwood Delonghi, Healthcare projects in Basingstoke and Portsmouth and also small scale domestic alterations for local authorities, undertaking the lead design role in many instances.
