About the project

Studio Four were appointed to convert multiple agricultural buildings into luxury holiday accommodation on a family farm in Hampshire. 

The existing, characterful buildings were sympathetically altered into unique, inviting spaces for guests to enjoy. Accommodation now consists of two bright and airy cottages; The Cart Shed, which has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a modern, open plan living area; and The Hay Barn, a three bedroom, three bathroom suite, with double height living area that incorporates floor to ceiling windows to take in the outside views, and a bespoke kitchen. Each of the buildings are flooded with natural light and beautifully fitted out. The considered external landscaping which was part of the scheme softens and embeds the buildings within their rural landscape.

The scheme has been such a success, in 2020 we are hosting a private ecological themed event for clients, fellow consultants and professionals in the bookable event space.

The project was shortlisted for two RICS awards in 2019.
