Studio Four was appointed in May 2017 by a private client to obtain Planning and Listed Building consents, and subsequent Building Regulations approval, to convert an existing double garage into a new annexe, within the curtilage of a Grade II listed cottage.


The proposal utilises the footprint of the existing garage, together with a modest extension, to create a spacious, light and airy self-contained 2 bedroom wing, complete with kitchenette and shower room. It was carefully designed using high-quality materials to minimise the visual impact on the adjacent listed building, and was recently completed by the client to the highest standard.
