About the project

Studio Four were appointed in January 2018 to prepare designs and a planning application for the conversion of 2 modern barn structures in Michelmersh into 2 private houses for 2 brothers and their families to return to their local village. The application was submitted following a pre-application enquiry to the Local Authority and is accompanied by numerous reports required for this type of application which involved structural, arboricultural, landscape and ecology consultants.

The application was approved in August 2018 with works due to start on site in early 2019.

Located in Winchester, this project comprised the removal of a low quality dwelling and replacement with a contemporary 5 bedroom dwelling.

Linked House Extension

Extension to an existing dwelling in Hampshire, a glass link will connect it to the existing house and it will provide 3 additional bedrooms, a snug and study.
