About the project

In late 2014 Studio Four Specialist Projects designed and obtained planning permission for a contemporary new build house for a young family relocating from London.

The project started on site in October 2015 and involves the removal of a low quality bungalow on the site and replacement with a 2 storey contemporary house that will provide amongst other things; 4 bedrooms and a large open plan living space looking out across the expansive garden.

The form is split into 2 distinctive elements and a lightweight glazed section through the middle provides light and views through the house.

The majority of the project will be constructed from ‘SIP’ panels. The project will complete on site in Autumn 2016.

This project involved the removal of an existing low quality extension and replacement with a much larger and contemporary addition.

Listed Building Conversion

Conversion of an existing Cart Shed into an annexe for a private dwelling, as well as the repair and refurbishment of a Grade II listed barn

Sutton Scotney

Studio Four were appointed to look at a revised planning application for a narrow site in Sutton Scotney and created a sketch design with 3d visualisations
