About the project

A Planning Application has now been approved for the creation of a new single storey pavilion building within the New Forest National Park. 

The new lightweight steel building will provide an indoor swimming pool, gym, sauna, steam room and associated facilities and will require the removal of an existing outdoor swimming pool and pool house. The new structure will be linked back to the existing house with a glass link which will contain a wine cellar pod within the floor. A key feature of the design is the meadow roof which will enhance the appearance of the building and soften its impact within the landscape. The proposed building is built up against an existing retaining wall within the garden, and the large expanses of glass will provide views to the forest behind.
