We were delighted to assist Paultons Park in Hampshire, with their proposals for the large scale installation of PV panels across their site (both on existing building roofs and within proposed solar car port structures)
Phase 1 is well underway on site, and the expected annual electricity generation from the carports would be 455MWh, which would result in total annual carbon savings of 65 Tonnes CO2e/year (emissions calculated on electricity generated, therefore including both consumed and exported electricity, and assumes embodied carbon factor of 0.143 kgCO2e/kWh from grid).
This solar project will mark the largest single investment in solar energy ever undertaken by a theme park in the UK
