Planning granted for two dwellings on a long and narrow site within Fareham

Planning has been granted for a site that presented a few challenges – to ensure parking, vehicle turning, bin collection and fire engine access were all possible – all within the constraints of a narrow site with tree root protection zones, the risk of overlooking and an underground electrical cable running the full length of the site.

 

The resultant contemporary design to the 4-bed, 3-storey dwellings responds to the constraints of the site, optimising the potential and blending with the surrounding building vernacular.
