About the project

Full Planning Permission was obtained for the Maltings in West Dean late 2011. The site comprises a house and 2 barns which date back to the 18th & 19th Century and are currently unused.

Works to the house involve minor alterations to the layout to change the entrance position and to convert the 2 outbuildings into dwellings. The smaller outbuilding is to become a 2 storey, 2 bedroom dwelling with a single storey extension. The larger outbuilding will be converted into a 2 storey, 4 bedroom dwelling with integral garage. It will also have a single storey extension added to the South Elevation.
